Some technical stuff

WS-Slideshow runs on any platforms such as Windows, OS X and Linux as well as within any Browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari or Opera. All user need an installed Flash Player version 10 only, which is available on over 98.7% of Internet-enabled desktops (Resource: Adobe Flash Player Version Penetration - June 2011). That means that the WS-Slideshow is for everyone!

A short history

Few years ago WS-Slideshow was developed for the content management systems of NorthClick and Jimdo. Since 2008 WS-Slideshow has been available for everyone. In 2011 a new version 2.0 of WS-Slideshow was born, which is the best release ever!

Behind the scenes

WS-Slideshow has been developed by Jens Krause, who is an independent application developer living and working in the amazing area of Holstein Switzerland in Germany. The code behind this application has been written in ActionScript 3, is well structured and based on well known design patterns using the PureMVC-Framework.
